Product description
Powerful Strapex SMG 65 automatic strapping system with integrated conveyor technology. It consists of a side-seal strapping machine and a multi-section modular belt conveyor. Because the sealing unit is arranged at the side, the strapping head stays outside the product flow – ideal for heavy or bulky packages. With up to 65 strapping cycles per minute, the SMG 65 is one of the high-output industrial strapping systems.
The modular plastic slat belt conveyor ensures stable transport even of heavy or large-format products, with sturdy steel frames and industrial gear motors. The last section is a pneumatic lift conveyor for height compensation between conveyors, transfer to cross conveyors and integration into automated packaging lines. The system, consisting of conveyor sections, strapping machine and strap dispenser, can be integrated modularly into existing production lines; control is via the customer's line control.
Used, technically tested and well maintained. The lift conveyor shows light deformation in the sheet metal and frame – purely cosmetic, with no technical effect.
