Product description
The filter module sits on the line side ahead of the infeed/regenerative feedback unit and limits the high-frequency emissions that the switching converter sends back into the mains. This keeps the drive cabinet within the required EMC limits, so neither its own control nor neighboring machines are disturbed.
It is a purely passive component made of chokes and capacitors. Since nothing inside switches or regulates, it ages slowly – modules like this are usually removed because a machine is rebuilt or decommissioned.
Condition: used, tested. Housing shows storage and handling marks; warning and type labels are fully legible. Terminal covers and carrying handle are present. Stickers from the previous owner may be present and can be removed without residue.
Safety note: high leakage current – connect equipotential bonding. After isolating, observe the discharge time of 4 minutes stated on the unit; the DC link capacitors of the connected modules remain charged during this time. Installation and removal by a qualified electrician only.
Compatibility & applications
Machines: IMA BIMA 210 · 310 · 410 · 480 · 610 · 810 · 980. This module was removed from a BIMA 810 and fits a BIMA 610 as well. It also fits any SIMODRIVE 611 drive cabinet with an infeed/regenerative feedback unit of the 36/47 kW rating – on other machine brands, too, as it is a standard Siemens catalog part, not an IMA special version.
