Product description
The unit generates the 24 V control voltage from the three-phase supply for controls, contactor coils, solenoid valves, sensors, brakes and signaling devices – 720 W cover the complete control level of a mid-size machine. At the same time it galvanically isolates the control circuit from the line.
With no switching electronics inside, it is insensitive to line harmonics, voltage dips and EMC load from frequency inverters in the same cabinet – the reason this design is still found in large installations today.
Tested: we have tested this item and it is fully functional. Clean condition with at most light cosmetic traces; labels from the previous owner may be present and can be removed without residue. After long storage: electrolytic capacitors age, so plan a reforming by qualified personnel before full load.
Compatibility & applications
Machines: IMA BIMA 210 · 310 · 410 · 480 · 610 · 810 · 980. This unit comes from a BIMA 610. It is a Siemens catalog part, not an IMA special design – the same units are used in machines from other manufacturers. Order number and ratings are decisive.
Scope of delivery
Rectifier unit with connected filter capacitor – the photos show exactly the unit you receive, complete with the capacitor. Installation: hazardous voltage on the line side, the filter capacitor remains charged after switch-off – connection by a qualified electrician only.
