Product description
Single-phase autotransformer (Ia0) for voltage matching in machines and control cabinets. Steps down 240/230/220 V to 115 V / 60 V / 30 V via tapped terminals 1…7. Also known as control transformer (auto), step-down transformer (auto) or mains autotransformer. Working on the autotransformer principle, it does not provide galvanic isolation.
Benefits: a simple retrofit solution without a converter, rugged industrial design and quick installation. Used, with normal signs of use as shown in the photos; tested and fully functional.
Compatibility & applications
Voltage matching in machine and plant engineering, e.g. supplying 115 V loads in European installations on 230/240 V mains. Typical applications: control and auxiliary voltage networks, machine tools and woodworking machines; also suitable for IMA and HOMAG plants (depending on wiring diagram and power demand).
