Product description
An EcoDrive03 drive controller runs only with a plugged firmware module. The module carries the drive software; it sits in its own slot behind the front flap, is secured with a knurled screw and can be exchanged without tools.
We offer the modules individually because many customers transfer their own module from the old unit and only need the drive. Conversely, a module may be missing after removal – then the drive is fine and only the module is needed. We therefore stock both separately.
The two designs: ESM02.2-FW in gray plastic housing (material no. 279726), the older version, in our stock built up to 2000; ESM02.3-FW in nickel-plated metal housing (material no. 289324 / R911289324), the successor, in our stock built from 2000. Both share the same connector, pitch, height, knurled screw and front elements H1, S1, S2, S3. The software level is independent of the design – 01VRS occurs on both carrier modules. Our recommendation: when in doubt, choose the same design that was fitted in your unit.
All modules come from drive controllers from our own stock, were in operation until removal and have been inspected and tested in-house. Design, software level and serial numbers are documented for every single module.

One firmware module of the selected version, complete with carrier module and knurled screw. The DKC drive controller is available separately. The versions are in stock in different quantities; a version that is sold out is shown as unavailable in the selection. The serial numbers of firmware and carrier module of the delivered unit are documented on the delivery note. Need a specific unit or serial number?
