Product description

This is the large digital I/O card in the rack of a NUM 1060 or NUM 1062 control. Through it, the integrated PLC reads the machine signals – limit switches, proximity sensors, pressure switches, push buttons – and sends commands to valves, contactors and indicator lamps. With 64 inputs and 48 outputs it covers 112 channels in a single slot and replaces several smaller I/O cards.

The design is practical for service: NUM placed the channel stages on four plug-in module boards instead of soldering them to the carrier card, so a single channel group can be handled on its own. Input and output stages are protected by protective circuitry, varistors and fine-wire fuses, and, as usual with NUM, a factory spare fuse is carried on the card.

The front panel carries the embossed marking “64.I / 48.O” and two separate connector strips with terminal charts: Q0800.0–Q0805.7 for the outputs and I0800.0–I0807.7 for the inputs, i.e. the card was used in address range 08 in its previous machine. Removed from an IMA BIMA 610 V CNC machining center (IMA Klessmann, Lübbecke).

Condition grade 2 – Good, tested and fully functional: carrier card and modules clean, fully populated, front panel straight, terminal charts legible, no reworked solder joints, no repairs, no corrosion, backplane connector with straight pins, ejector levers smooth, spare fuse present. Installation by qualified personnel only, with the system de-energized.
