Product description

The Mayser SG-EFS 134 ZK2/1 L20ms is a two-channel safety control unit for evaluating pressure-sensitive protective devices – such as safety mats, safety edges and safety bumpers – with a 1.2 kΩ monitoring resistor. It holds an EC type-examination certificate according to EN 954 Category 3 and is designed with force-guided contacts for increased safety requirements.

The single-fault-safe electronics work redundantly over two channels: each channel drives a force-guided relay that tests itself via contact feedback after every switching cycle. While the sensor is not actuated, both output relays are energized and the yellow LEDs are lit. When a sensor is actuated or the supply line is interrupted, relays K1 and K2 drop out and the LEDs go off. An internal timer (suffix “L20ms”) suppresses false tripping caused by falling material for 20 ms – independently of this, the actual response time per type label and operating manual is below 10 ms.

A potential-free signal circuit (fault indication relay K3, terminals 31/32) is provided. Reset is selectable: automatic (jumper on terminals 7/8) or manual via an external reset button on terminals 5/6.

Used unit removed from an industrial plant and function-tested. Electronics and switching function are intact. The type label is slightly yellowed/stained and the housing shows adhesive residue from its former mounting location (see photos). Supplied without original packaging and manual. Several units are available; unless you request a specific unit, we ship one of our choice – one unit is missing the red clip for cabinet mounting, so please let us know if you need the clip.
