Unterlagen und Einbauhinweise

Die Matte nie stark durchbiegen. Dabei werden die Kontakte dauerhaft beschädigt, und die Matte meldet anschließend ständig „belegt“ – die Maschine läuft nicht mehr an, obwohl die Matte unbeschädigt aussieht. Flach lagern, nicht am Kabel ziehen.

Der Druckausgleich läuft über das Anschlusskabel. Kabel nicht knicken oder klemmen, Kabelverschraubungen nur handfest anziehen, luftdurchlässige Anschlussgehäuse verwenden.

Product description

The Bircher ESM-52 is a large safety contact mat for industrial applications with a studded surface for maximum slip resistance. It secures workplaces and danger zones: the machine is stopped or prevented from starting when the mat is stepped on. Robust, durable construction suited for industrial environments.

Fast, precise switching (max. 70 ms), high load capacity and IP67 protection against external influences, certified to PL e / Category 3 and easy to integrate into existing safety systems. Used and tested.

Compatibility & applications

Works with HOMAG controls and comparable Bircher evaluation units. A safety control unit (e.g. ESD3) is required for the safety function.
