Die ESM-21 ist die ältere Bauform und folgt nicht dem Schlüssel der Reihe ESM-52x / 54x / 57x. Bestellen Sie über Bauart und Maß, nicht über eine umgerechnete Typnummer.

Die Matte nie stark durchbiegen – dabei werden die Kontakte dauerhaft beschädigt, und sie meldet anschließend ständig „belegt“. Der Druckausgleich läuft über das Anschlusskabel: nicht knicken oder klemmen, Verschraubungen nur handfest anziehen.

Product description

The Bircher ESM-21 is a safety contact mat for industrial applications. It secures workplaces and danger zones: the machine is stopped or prevented from starting when the mat is stepped on. Robust, durable construction suited for industrial environments.

Fast, precise switching (max. 70 ms), high load capacity and IP67 protection against external influences, certified to PL e / Category 3 and easy to integrate into existing safety systems. Used and tested.

Compatibility & applications

Works with HOMAG controls and comparable Bircher evaluation units. A safety control unit (e.g. ESD3) is required for the safety function.
