Die ESM-21 ist die ältere Bauform und folgt nicht dem Schlüssel der Reihe ESM-52x / 54x / 57x. Bestellen Sie über Bauart und Maß, nicht über eine umgerechnete Typnummer.

Die Matte nie stark durchbiegen – dabei werden die Kontakte dauerhaft beschädigt, und sie meldet anschließend ständig „belegt“. Der Druckausgleich läuft über das Anschlusskabel: nicht knicken oder klemmen, Verschraubungen nur handfest anziehen.

Bircher ESM-21 Safety Mat 1200 × 1000 mm

Industrial safety mat (contact mat, pressure sensitive mat) for safeguarding hazardous areas on woodworking machines and automated systems. Stepping on the mat triggers a switching signal that stops or slows the machine.

With adhesive tape residue · part no. PBMA00172-0012 – remnants of adhesive tape on the surface. Purely cosmetic; the switching function is not affected and has been tested.

Important

A safety system always consists of three parts: mat, safety relay and terminating resistor. The mat alone is only the signal source and has no protective function without a matching evaluation unit. A Bircher mat requires a Bircher safety relay; it will not work with a Mayser unit.

Commissioning must be carried out by qualified personnel only, in compliance with applicable safety regulations. Due to size and weight, shipping is by freight forwarder in suitable packaging; transport costs depend on the delivery location and are quoted separately.
