Product description

An original HOMAG servo 4-axis card WZ10 NEC Rev.7, HOMAG item number 2-083-02-8131. The board comes from HOMAG industrial CNC control technology and was typically used in HOMAG BOF and BAZ machining centers.

The card controls and processes axis movements in the machine control and is designed for 4-axis applications. It carries numerous industrial chips from NEC, Motorola, ST and HP plus logic, memory and interface components for precise signal processing and motion control, with a Motorola MC68HC000FN16 processor for real-time servo axis processing.

The board features updated firmware and EPROM versions: two WZ10 NEC V1.80 R5/7 firmware chips dated 14.07.2001 (R0 and R1), an updated revision compared with earlier NEC versions. Older NEC system EPROMs (NEC V7.30, 31.10.1995) and several HOMAG function and I/O chips are also fitted. The board label reads “4-Achser Rev07.homag 96I/O WZ10 NEC” with main number 2-083-02-8131.

High-quality construction with DIP switches, jumpers, EPROM sockets, filter and protection circuits. Removed from a running machine, in good visual condition with age-related storage and handling marks; labels, firmware versions, stickers and configuration as shown in the original photos. Ideal as a replacement part for existing HOMAG machines.
