Product description

An original HOMAG HOMATIC Multi-I/O VMOD IO/S carrier board made by JANZ Computer AG, item number 4-086-05-0330. The board was designed for industrial HOMAG control systems and is typically used in HOMAG BOF and BAZ 32 / 41 machining centers.

It serves as a modular carrier and communication platform in the machine control, with three MODULbus slots labeled MODULbus 0, 1 and 2 for additional I/O, CAN, communication or fieldbus modules. A serial D-sub port on the front is used for communication, diagnostics or parameter setup. Jumper fields, DIP switches, termination resistors and configurable bus parameters are on board, along with industrial Motorola and other logic and communication ICs.

The fitted add-on module is labeled “CANbus Optokoppler JANZ” and provides galvanically isolated CAN communication within the control system. Labels (SC / GC / CT / Bit / QCL from the previous owner), jumper positions and individual configuration are as shown in the original photos.

Removed from a running HOMAG machine – an excellent replacement part or exchange card for maintenance and modernization of existing HOMAG controls. Used and tested, with light storage and handling marks.
