Product description

This ELTEC SECO1/1 is a VME-bus serial interface card with six RS232 ports. It plugs into the VME backplane of industrial control systems via 96-pin connectors and provides six SubD-9 sockets (T10 to T15) on the front panel for connecting external devices.

The board carries three Zilog Z80 SIO/0 serial I/O controllers, six RS232 driver ICs, a clock generator with a 7.3728 MHz crystal, two trim potentiometers for fine adjustment and DIP switches for address configuration.

The card was removed from a running system and was fully functional before removal. Visual inspection shows no visible defects.
