Product description
This original HOMAG MULTI-E/A VME base card, item number 4-086-05-0368, was developed for industrial CNC control and automation systems and comes from a HOMAG machine control. It is built on a robust VME industrial platform and carries an Automata (Industrial & Robotic Controls) SERCOS master module ASIC, version V3.1.
The card is the central communication and interface board in SERCOS-based CNC systems, handling synchronization, signal processing and data exchange between the control, axis drives and peripheral components. Labeled logic and EPROM chips on the board include MODDEC V02, IRQDEC V01, BUS V02, VECL V02 and INTI V02 Multi-E/A-VME.
Integrated RUN, ERROR, RxD and TxD diagnostic LEDs and SYNC-IN / SYNC-OUT connectors support real-time industrial communication. Sturdy VME design with aluminum bracket and connector strip. Removed from a working system; tested and working, with signs of use and storage as shown in the photos.
