Product description

An original Ferrocontrol FIPC 1.7e industrial operator panel with integrated embedded industrial PC for CNC machines and automated production equipment. The unit was removed from a Priess & Horstmann CNC BAT, where it served as the operating and control unit.

The panel is the central interface between operator and machine. The TFT display shows machining programs, machine status, CNC parameters, axis movements, error messages and service functions. The front keypad provides function keys F1 to F10, a numeric keypad, cursor keys, Start and Stop keys and system/navigation keys to start programs, change parameters and control machine functions directly.

COM1 to COM4 handle communication with PLCs, CNC components, drives, frequency inverters or machine peripherals. Ethernet integrates the system into industrial networks; USB ports accept data media or service devices, and a VGA output drives an external monitor. The embedded MS-DOS based operating system was built for stable continuous industrial operation.

The rugged metal housing and IP54 front protection make the panel suitable for long-term use in dusty, vibrating production environments. Original Ferrocontrol systems for older Priess & Horstmann CNC machines are hard to find today – a valuable spare for maintenance and stock-keeping, as a retrofit solution or exchange unit.

Used and tested industrial item with normal signs of use from production. Sold as shown.
