Product description

The Ferrocontrol FBUR-1 is a fieldbus universal computer from the proven Ferrocontrol DARC fieldbus system. Designed for industrial automation, it handles communication, processing and control tasks within complex machine controls.

At its core is a Zilog Z80180VC microprocessor, supported by the FBUS XM2091 communication controller, the ST TS68230CFN10 multi-function controller and additional memory and logic devices. This lets the FBUR-1 exchange data between modules, process signals and coordinate machine sequences. The firmware module FBUR V2.33 carries the plant-specific programs and machine functions.

Unlike simple I/O modules, the FBUR acts as an independent computing and communication unit within the control system. For legacy production lines, keeping identical hardware and software is key – which makes functional original modules like this one a valuable spare.

The rugged UMK industrial housing with pluggable terminals and system connectors is built for control cabinet installation. This unit was removed from an industrial plant, tested and is in fully functional condition.
