Important before you buy

This unit is supplied without a firmware module. An EcoDrive03 servo drive only runs with an FWA-ECODR3 series firmware module plugged in. Transfer the module from your old unit – that way you keep the firmware version proven on your machine, and there is no version conflict with the control and the axis. If you need a module, we carry the FWA-ECODR3-SMT-01VRS-MS as a separate item in our shop.

The photos show the current condition as shipped: the firmware module has been removed and the slot behind the front flap is empty.

Cosmetic condition: On some of the units – not all of them – the tabs on the hinge of the plastic front flap are slightly damaged. The close-up of the hinge shows this on one affected unit as an example; it is not representative of every unit offered. The flap stays in place and opens and closes; function, connections and electronics are not affected. We mention it for completeness – it is purely cosmetic.

Product description

The DKC11.3-040-7-FW is a digital servo drive from the Bosch Rexroth Indramat EcoDrive03 series. It powers and controls a servo motor with up to 40 A rated current and runs directly on the three-phase line. Unlike the SERCOS version DKC02.3, this unit has no fiber-optic connections; it is connected via the X1 control terminals and the X2 serial interface.

Units of this series are found in CNC machine tools, handling systems and woodworking machinery, including HOMAG and WEEKE. They work with MKD and MHD servo motors.

The units offered come from running machines, were in operation until removal and show only signs of installation. Nameplate, serial number and UL listing are present and legible in the photos. Every unit has been inspected and tested in-house. The plug-in terminal blocks let you swap out a failed predecessor unit without rewiring.
