• IMA edgebanding aggregate for 4-sided wrap-around edgebanding, fits IMA 680 480 980
• This used edgebanding aggregate is a specialized replacement part for full 4-sided edging and wrap-around edgebanding with butt joint on IMA 680, 480 and 980 series CNC machining centers. The module comes from an IMA 680 V machine, serial number 2216, year of manufacture 2001
• The aggregate is equipped with a main pressure roller of 100 mm diameter and a pneumatically controlled post-pressure roller of 35 mm diameter. An integrated glue application unit ensures even coating of the edge material, with temperature and level control
• The servo drive automatically adjusts to the path speed and ensures precise feeding of the edgebanding tape. For reactivating the glue surface, a 7.5 kW hot-air unit is installed on the glue side. On the decor side, a 600 watt IR heater helps form the material around small radii
• Further equipment includes a pneumatically driven cut-off saw with butt-edge detection and an NC axis with a rotation range of up to 740 degrees and a pneumatic Z stroke of 125 mm. In addition, the aggregate has a separate NC axis in the Y direction, which works in the X direction on gantry machines and can be controlled independently of the main axis
