Product description

This original NUM axis interface board comes from a NUM 1062 CNC control in a HOMAG machine and is equally suitable for WEEKE woodworking machines with NUM 1062. It is the central interface and signal processing unit for several axes, transferring command and feedback signals between the CNC control and the drive units.

On the front, four parallel Sub-D connectors marked axis 1 to 4 connect the axis amplifiers and measuring systems. The board uses the typical NUM industrial format with a sturdy front panel and side guides for the NUM card rack. It carries TTL logic devices type ACT244 plus further buffer and driver ICs for clean level matching and decoupling; several identical circuit blocks are arranged symmetrically for multi-axis processing.

Large NUM-specific ASICs handle internal data processing and axis signal assignment, supported by crystal oscillators and passive filtering components. The multi-pin rear connector (8609 396 71 13 H45 000 E1 95 24) links the board to the NUM 1062 backplane for power and data communication with the CPU board.

Used and tested, electrically and visually inspected, from a working NUM 1062 control removed during machine decommissioning. Age- and storage-related signs of use are possible. Ideal as a replacement part or as a spare to secure your HOMAG and WEEKE installed base.
