Product description

The B&R Maestro MDA163-0 is an original relay output module built as an industrial plug-in card for central control systems. As a multi-channel relay card, it switches external loads through galvanically isolated relay contacts.

The board carries industrial relays from Takamisawa, type LZ-12H-K, rated for a 12 V DC control voltage. They typically switch valves, contactors, solenoids, motor enables and other industrial actuators. The front panel has one status LED per channel, so each switching state is visible at a glance, plus a numbered terminal strip for clear channel assignment.

The module serves as the interface between control logic and field components and is well suited for applications that need galvanic isolation or higher switching voltages. Used, from an industrial environment, with age-related cosmetic signs of use and no visible damage to the board, relays or contacts.
