Product description

The Bircher ESD3-K167 (Part No. K167, HOMAG No. 4-008-32-0967) is an industrial safety relay for monitoring and controlling safety circuits in demanding industrial environments. It monitors safety devices such as guard doors, emergency stop buttons or light curtains on two channels and shuts down the machine within max. 50 ms when triggered.

These units have not just been tested – they were professionally overhauled and upgraded with current Bircher components, optimized for performance and long-term stability.

What the overhaul includes: complete cleaning, visual inspection and diagnosis of all components; targeted upgrade with current Bircher components; replacement of worn contacts and safety-relevant parts; full electrical function test of all inputs and outputs and of the response time.
