Product description
The Bircher ESD3-K167 REV. A (Part No. K167, HOMAG No. 4-008-32-0967) is an industrial safety relay in the revised revision A. It monitors safety devices such as guard doors, emergency stop buttons or light curtains on two channels and safely shuts down the machine within max. 50 ms when triggered.
This unit was removed directly from a running system and is in its original delivery condition (not overhauled or upgraded). It has been electrically tested, is fully functional and ready for use as a direct replacement.
Status LEDs: Operation – relay on and ready, all safety circuits closed · Safety shutdown (1) – channel 1 triggered, e.g. guard door open or E-stop pressed · Safety shutdown (2) – second safety channel triggered · Fault – internal error or discrepancy between input channels · Signal transmitter – fault on the connected sensor or switch.
