How it works

1. Book the inspection. Order the fee here – the order number serves as the reference for your shipment.

2. Send in the unit. Make sure the nameplate is complete and enclose a fault description and the machine type – this shortens fault isolation considerably.

3. In-house inspection. Visual inspection, electrical testing and fault isolation down to assembly level.

4. Report and quote. Written findings with a cost estimate – or a clear statement that the repair is not worthwhile.

5. Decision. If you order the repair, the inspection fee is fully credited toward it – so the inspection effectively costs you nothing.

6. No order. The unit is returned on request; return shipping is at the sender's expense. On request, we take care of proper disposal.

Product description

For drive amplifiers, power supply units and control modules, no serious repair price can be quoted before the unit is opened. A burnt-out DC bus, a defective output stage and a failed fan look the same from the outside but involve completely different effort. That is why every job starts with a fixed-price inspection – not a flat quote that would have to be revised upward later.

The fee covers the labor needed to isolate the fault and answer the key question: is a repair worthwhile, or is a tested exchange unit the more economical route? Both options are available from one source – we constantly keep overhauled and tested assemblies of the common types in stock.

If you decide on the repair, the inspection fee is fully credited toward it. If you decide against it, there are no further costs beyond the fee and return shipping. Either way, you keep the report – a solid basis for your in-house decision.

Not included

This fee does not cover replacement parts, a test run under load on the production drive, on-site installation and commissioning, or data backup and parameter setup. Main spindles and drill blocks have their own, higher inspection fee – these assemblies require mechanical testing and are listed separately in the shop.
