Product description

The SMC20 is an industrial sensor module from the Siemens SINAMICS S120 series. It connects incremental encoders (sin/cos 1 Vpp) and absolute encoders (EnDat / SSI) to SINAMICS drives, making it a versatile solution for encoder integration, motion control and position sensing.

This unit was removed from a HOMAG BOF 211 CNC machine. It is used, technically tested and fully functional, in complete original condition with D-Sub connector (X520), mounting bracket and screw. Light signs of use from previous machine operation, no damage.

Compatibility & applications

Originally installed in a HOMAG BOF 211 CNC machine and compatible with comparable machines of this series. Also suitable as a replacement or addition in other machine types with SINAMICS drive systems.
