Used temperature controller type HOMAG R 1040-HO2-5, part number 4-008-40-0139, suitable for precise temperature control in industrial machines. The device was developed for use in HOMAG machines, e.g., in edgebanders or presses, and serves to control heating processes via Pt100 or Fe-CuNi sensors in the range of 0 to 600 °C.

The power supply is 24 V DC (±25%). The device has three outputs for direct control of heating circuits or signal components:

– OUT I: Relay output, 250 V AC / 5 A

– OUT II: Relay output, 250 V AC / 5 A

– OUT III: Transistor output, 30 V DC / 20 mA

Configuration is done via DIP switches on the front panel. The temperature display is shown via a 3-digit LED display with a °C symbol. On the back, there are a 19-pin and a 6-pin terminal strip for electrical connection.
