Product description

An original ELTEC converter card for HOMAG HOMATIC control systems. The card converts or extends a CPU30/E16 control to four serial RS communication ports and was used in HOMAG industrial CNC machines.

The card is labeled “Convertierungskarte CPU30/E16 auf 4x RS” and also carries the number 4086050241, the date print 23.06.95 and the marking T. STEINLE. Four serial D-sub ports on the front handle communication and data transfer within the machine control, plus an ARC0 connector; the front panel is marked HMAG-1.

The PCB carries the internal marking HMAG-1/1 4681 and is made by ELTEC Elektronik Mainz. It is fitted with TTL logic and communication chips and HMAG firmware EPROMs HMAGx01.0A, HMAGx02.0A, HMAGx03.0A and HMAGx04.0A.
