Product description

The Ferrocontrol FB-INOUT-1 7542 is an industrial input/output module for connecting and processing digital signals in machine controls, production lines and automation systems. It is the interface between sensors, actuators and the higher-level PLC or machine control – typical in special-purpose machines, packaging machines, conveyor systems, woodworking machinery and general industrial equipment.

The module sits in a compact type UMK housing for DIN-rail mounting. Pluggable screw terminals on the front connect sensors, limit switches, proximity switches, solenoid valves, relays and other field devices; the pluggable design shortens downtime and makes maintenance easy.

Green and red status LEDs show signal states directly on the module, so many issues can be located without a meter. The PCB carries Philips 74HCT534N octal latches and 74HCT540N drivers for signal conditioning, buffering and output control, complemented by protective circuits, interference suppression, driver stages and diagnostic electronics for continuous industrial duty. Side connectors link the module into existing Ferrocontrol control systems.

Removed from a running industrial installation; used, tested and working.
