Important before you buy

This unit is supplied without firmware module. An EcoDrive03 servo drive only works with a plugged-in firmware module of the FWA-ECODR3 series. Transfer the module from your old unit – that way you keep the firmware version proven on your machine and avoid any version conflict with the control and axis. If you need a module, we carry the FWA-ECODR3-SMT in versions 01VRS-MS and 02VRS-MS as a separate item in the shop.

The photos show the current condition as shipped: the firmware module is removed and the slot behind the front cover is empty.

Cosmetic condition: On some units – not all – the tabs on the hinge of the plastic front cover are slightly damaged. The close-up of the hinge shows this on one affected unit as an example; it is not representative of all units offered. The cover stays in place and opens and closes; function, connections and electronics are not affected. We mention it for completeness – it is purely cosmetic.

Product description

The DKC02.3-100-7-FW is the large servo drive of the Rexroth Indramat EcoDrive03 series. It powers and controls a servo motor with up to 100 A rated current, runs directly on 3 AC 380–480 V three-phase line power and operates with a DC bus rated voltage of 700 V. Command communication with the higher-level CNC or PLC runs over the SERCOS interface via fiber optic cable; commissioning is done through serial interface X2.

Drives of this series are found in HOMAG and WEEKE CNC machining centers for woodworking, in CNC machine tools and in packaging and special-purpose machines. The plug-in terminal blocks allow a defective predecessor unit to be swapped without rewiring.

The units offered come from running machines, were in operation until removal and show, if anything, light, purely cosmetic marks. Nameplate, material number and serial number are present and legible in the photos. Every unit has been inspected and tested in-house. The serial number of the unit shipped is documented on the packing slip.
